I just thought i would straighten everything out here, because there was a lot of confusion in a previous thread.

For all EVDO phones, (except blackberries), the default powervision plan code is $15 per month. IF you have a multimedia phone, you may choose to take advantage of the plus pack ($20) or the ultimate pack ($25).

If you have a windoze device (PPC6700, 700wx, ip830) then there is no need for the second two packages, as those packs are setup to include picturemail and sprintTV, etc. These devices cannot take advantage of these services, and therefore you do not need to waste the money on them.

actually the treo 650 is not a 3G device and neither is the treo 680...but the 750 will be 3G whenever it decides to be released.

... 🤨 huh?

yea... the 650 is 3G, and so is the 680, and the 700, and the 750. They ALL run on 3G networks... mostly because that's the most advanced technology right now... even the most current EVDO Rev-A is technically a 3G network, though many techs are calling it 3.5G.

T-Mo is still running 2G which is why their data speeds are soooo slllooowwww. VZW, Sprint, and Cingy are all running 3G with no plans to advance to 4G, except Sprint, who should(if all things go according to plan) have 4G WiMax available by end of year 2008.

No. The 700p operates using a Palm OS, not Windows Mobile.
