What are talking about? I've only had Sprint for a short time and I'm enjoying the service very much, "but their poor CS is not some fairy tale! -even Sprints CEO has realized that they have dropped the ball in regards to putting their customers first."

It sounds to me like your attitude is part of Sprints problem.

Happy Sprint customer

Who told me, you did.

I love my sprint service too, but cs can eat a fat one. Their cs and all of the bad experiences that they have created have made it more difficult to sell sprint when I have friendlier carriers at my store. I was in the process of activating a 3-line sprint plan, and (long story short) because they had an account SEVEN YEARS EARLIER, activations said I had to put them on the phone. Less than two minutes later, they stormed out of the store in a rage.

My experience as a customer is great, but I have heard too many horror stories for it to be false.

I sell Sprint, tmobile and cingular. When I mention sprint, more than half the time they react negatively, and I have to listen to their stories. At some point, you can tell who is an idiot with an invalid complaint and who actually got screwed over. As a customer, I've called twice with no complaints.

sprint local sucked and I always had a bad experience with them. And I dropped them as soon as I could. But never with their PCS side. Now they don't' have local anymore so its not the case anymore.

A lot of the stir was caused way back when, when the market reached near complete penetration in the US market. SPCS used to have it made as far as enterprise accounts were concerned. Let's face it, way back when, if a firm opted out of Nextel due to their high rate (at the time) plans and expensive handsets, the only other alternatives w/ good business CS was either SPCS or AT&T. Those names at the time were synomous w/ business.

After every person in the US, eight years old an up had a cell phone (probably a RAZR), the only thing people could do was migrate (WLNP) to a better (or what they thought) carrier vs. new subscriber activations... The 'what do we do now' on the part of the wireless carriers caused a lot of problems. Ins...
