I work in a multi-carrier indirect store, and it's been slow all around, not only with Sprint. But it's bad enough that they're actually threatening to close our store. 😕

Washington-Baltimore. And the sad thing is, it's not a shortage of people looking for phones! We're just in a really bad location (and the fact that our agreement with Sprint/Nextel doesn't allow us to do handset upgrades is killing us as well).

Has not been to bad here. We are a Kiosk at the mall, we got over 100 activations for hte month with a handful of upgrades...tracking 152 for the month...behind our goal but I would say we're OK, my boss may think otherwise though.

😁 As far as I know, we are the only kiosk that our owner owns! But I know of lots of malls here in Georgia that have Sprint Corporate Kiosks, almost every mall here actually :-D

Legacy USUnwired still has a few kiosks. We still have one.

you don't want to do upgrades unless they will pay you well for it anyway..........takes 3 times longer than a new activation, believe it or not!

actually doing the upgrade takes longer than actually doing an activation. but you have to explain a ton more when doing an act. however you know your getting paid well to do an act heh so it deffinatelly offsets the explaining.

people have more questions on upgrades....and they aren't sold on the upgrade as much as they are on the 125.00 deposit, like the people who get 500-1000.00 deposit quoted to em by Stinkular, T-Aint Mobile and VZW

Upgrades really aren't that bad. I've processed them before. We lose so many customers who love their service, wouldn't even consider switching, and just want to upgrade.

well in our market we can...not that it makes your company that much money..we deal threw a master agent...and they rock...they allow us to do upgrades and instant rebates on upgrades..but even with that the business here is still lacking

b. Pretty slow month for all of the market. It's been due to our lack of promos and ability to discount phone prices. But with the new phones comin' out soon, I don't think their will be any problems the rest of the month or next.

B. I can only speak for the Legacy Sprint store. I know the Legacy Nextel stores were struggling. We have a Sprint store, a Sprint kiosk, and 2 Nextel stores in town. The Sprint stores are on track for roughly 90%ish. I am already over 120%ish. We had a great start to the month and crappy middle. Hopefully it will pick up soon. The national ads and commercials have helped I think.
