I am debating between Sprint and Verizon?
I dont do alot of calling but want to be able to call and not get socked with a million roaming minute charges.
These are the only 2 companies Im interested in.
Anyone?

I have Verizon at this time and am looking at going to another company.

I went to Oregon a couple months ago and before I left I asked and was told I wouldn't get charged with roaming becuse I have a national plan. Well, 1/2 the time I couldn't get any signal and the other 1/2 got charged roaming.

Both are kind of pricey. And Sprint does have a lot of roaming areas. and the bad thing about Sprint is that you won't be charged roaming when less than half of your calls are made in the sprint PCS network.

As for Verizon, well, in-network calling... is very limited. And some other stuff they promise you is iffy.

if I really have to choose, then go with Sprint. Check the coverage map first though
