I recently heard rumor from a local dealer in TN that soon IDEN phones will be able to roam freely on Sprint's network. I am just curious if this is true?

will it be able to ptt on the cdma ready-link service?

^not that it really matters, i mean, honestly, how many people really use RL? but it would just be interesting to see a phone that can ptt with BOTH services, basically, broadening the businessman's ptt horizons

what will happen is that there will be dual mode iden/cdma phones that will basically have the push to talk of iden and the voice of cdma and ev-do.

hope that helps..
