SERO Premium Plan

I am one of the many former Sprint employees who were lucky enough to get the $30 SERO plan (with a 25% discount) when I left the company in March 2008. I have since had the same handset and was excited to get the Samsung Epic 4G . I waited in a short line at 8 AM that morning to find out my SERO plan was not compatible with the new smart phones. The sales rep advised me that I would have to switch to one of the Everything data plan at $69. I walked away and had a talk with Sprint over the phone. I am happy to say that they are now offering a SERO premium plan (only to those with SERO plans) for $10 additional a month to upgrade to any smart phone ($10 4G applies). I am happy that Sprint is still taking care of its many former employees...

You'll be waiting for quite some time. Unless you're buying it elsewhere you won't be getting it on a Sero plan for a long time still.

Thales - I am using the new Epic 4G phone on the SERO premium plan as we speak. $10 additional for premium to use the new phone and $10 for 4G. $50 total

as a sprint employee who handles sero, the thread starter is correct, only applies to people that had the SERO prior to 10/01/2010
