help! My hero hangs up on every incoming call and I have to call back

I have large fingers so at first I thought I accidentally hit ignore, but then it happened again. then i tried hitting the green phone button, and it happened again. then I tried putting the phone into sleep mode to do the whole 'slide down to answer' and it did it again. I tried removing the battery for several minutes to reset everything, and it still does it. If anybody has experienced this before or you just know how to get this fixed, please let me know! I'm starting a new business and obviously need the phone up and running!

Oh yes, I have also uninstalled everything that I've downloaded the last couple days, which was not much.

Thank you for your time

I apologize, it is not that it is hanging up on the incoming call, but it is ignoring them, thus logging them all as missed calls. The last time I successfully received an incoming call that I remember was about 3 days ago... but I'm checking on that.

Bring it to the sprint store, even if you don't have insurance you are under the 12 month manufacturers warranty.

Unfortunately there isn't a repair center within 50 miles of me... I think the closest one is about 70 miles. I did stop into the local store though to see if they could check and see if there is an update that could fix it or if it was a known issue but apparently it is not. We did a hard reset (the only thing I hadn't tried before) and it naturally would not reproduce the issue in the store. Of course, once I got home it is doing it again. I will see if I can manage a trip to that far off center in the next couple days. Any idea if I were to go and have the unreleased version of android installed if that might fix it?

If you don't have any repair centers within 50-miles, then the warranty can be redeemed over the phone through Sprint's Tech Support. This only applies if the www.sprint.com store finder cannot find any repair locations within 50 miles.

Yeah unfortunately the Sprint.com replacement is no longer available but just like you said tech support is your best bet

check your contacts details individually. there is an option on each one to send calls directly to voicemail and they will act just like you have reported.

If above posters idea didn't pan out (Auto-forward to voicemail)...

I would first suggest a hard reset (Remove battery... wait... put battery back in)

Then I would suggest you research doing a backup/factory reset. Putting the phone into the setup it had straight out of the box should fix it then.

THEN if it doesn't work, call Sprint and put in a ticket.
