Blackberrys, no. But the Hero blows Blackberries out of the water, and it has flash. Woo!

Unfortunately, it seems as though Blackberry is on a small decline. YES - it is great for business users, but the market share they occupy compared to the everyday, media lover, it much lower. Now don't get me wrong, I am certain Sprint will most definitely add some sort of "newer" Blackberry devices to its lineup soon. It just seems like Android and iPhone OS's are taking over the market. I would DEFINITELY look into an Android device once you are eligible for an upgrade.

'Blackberry' seems as much a name-drop device as 'iPhone'. With total honesty, I deal with more Blackberry issues than any other smartphone, and they are the only smartphone who's network can shut down while all other phones work phone. Blackberry outages are far too common.

ehhh maybe you should do your research on that one. I've had a blackberry for years and when the blackberry noc goes down (which rarely does), the only service that gets affected is push email. Texting, internet, and phone calls work fine just like any other phoen would.

Also, the blackberry bold will be coming out for sprint sometime between may and july.

True blackberry isn't the best option for multimedia but it does a solid job. People don't choose blackberry for multimedia and web browsing... they choose it because it is THE BEST option if you want a smart phone that is a phoen first, then pda. The blackberry's os and hardware make all types of messsaging and phone calls as easy and efficient as it gets.

Battery life is alm...

My 'research' is personal experience dealing with customers for several years. Maybe it's skewed a little by getting primordially unhappy customers (I mean, who contacts Sprint just to say everything is going well?), but more often than not, smartphone troubleshooting issues are all for Blackberry. I can't remember the last time a customer's Palm or HTC phone had significant issues or multiple replacements, but with Blackberrys, it is commonplace.

How many Black Berry phones are floating around on Sprint compared with Android? We get a ton of Treos in our ASC. Biggest offender is the i580, 8350i and Treo Pro.

I'm sorry, but the only frequent Blackberry issues that I see are usually user error or they just don't like the phone. The rest of the time the phones usually have some sort of water damage. Blackberry's are solid phones. If you're wanting something flashy then no, bb isn't for you. FYI I've carried every operating system in the store and used them on my personal line and my blackberry has been by far the most reliable. Worst ever was the touch diamond and the hero 1)battery life and 2)shutting down/freezing up all the time.
