Sprint's upgrades

I tried asking my sister, since she works for Sprint, to explain Sprint's upgrade requirements, discounts but she is in retention and keeps telling me to threaten to cancel so I can go to retentions. But I really don't want to be one of THOSE customers. My husband and I got our BB Pearls at the end of February '08 and want the Blackberry Niagra when it comes out. How do Sprint's upgrades work? I know we are eligible for 75.00 off right now but how long do we need to wait for "full upgrade discount"?

sprint employees are eligeble every 12 months,

normal customers qualify for full rebates every 22 months

premier customers qualify for the full discount on their primary line every 12 months

if you have had sprint for 10 years, if you have been with sprint for 6 months and have a recurring monthly charge of 69.99 on a single line or 99.99 on a FAMILY PLAN.

if you have a new plan you most likely qualify.
I'm sure if you are late on your bills and a bad customer you probably have low value and you wont be a premier customer, other then that you should be good.
