I just want to make an observation to focus on the positive, several actually...

1.) Sprint is selling 5 phones for free 12 months ago (guessing) they had one maybe two.

2.) Customer service has improved across the board granted however they still need to get better.

3.) Sprint Priemere standards were lowered so more people could upgrade sooner (very cool)

4.) Boost mobile is advertising unlimited talk $50 very competitive to other pay as you go.

Now I know that alot of people (ahem, cellenator) like to bash sprint, hell when I worked for them I liked to as well (was bitter near the end). Change of careers and an outside perspective has shown me that sprint is really trying and they do have a good service, the only thing h...

I agree with you. Alot of people are bashing Sprint because they are still "last" and bleeding customers (not as many as they have been, but bleeding just the same). People seem to want a QUICK FIX for all the problems Sprint had been facing and what hey fail to realize is it is impossible to turn a ship around as quickly as they want. It takes more steam to turn in around and combate the waves (customer perception) it faces. The improvements they have made in such a short amount of time need to be recognized, even though they arent where they want/need to be. I am excited to see what is going to happen this year.

Recently unfortunately I can't remember exactly what for, but someone called me on Sprints behalf and offered me $200 for some kind of survey.
Too bad for me it was one of those things where I blew them off then thought about it latter, did he say $200 just for answering some questions? 😕

And as for loosing customers, wouldn't that mean less network congestion and better reliability for those left using Sprint?

I have been a Sprint customer for a little over a year. I haven't had any problems with them at all except for receiving 2 exact paper bills in the mail, I called them twice to correct it but they kept coming so I just switched to paperless billing and the problem went away. What I have not seen is any new phone additions since either October or November. I certainly hope that changes. I would definitely stay with Sprint because I feel that overall their simply everything plan is a good deal for me and the service and coverage is about the same as the other carriers in my area.

I signed up with Sprint in Jan 09. I had Sprint 3 years ago and let me tell ya I have noticed a big improvement in customer service. The few interactions I have with customer service so far have been great in store and over the phone. The reps were courteous, well spoken and very knowledgeable about products and services. 🙂
