I heard this on the news this week. To the 8,000 employees about to lose their jobs, my heart goes out to you.
Sprint must have had another terrible quarter, because after Q3 results, they shed 5,000 jobs.

The economy certainly hasn't helped matters either.
At least Sprint has managed to keep itself afloat in spite of record losses- unlike companies such as Circuit City that are going out of business for good.
