Need Help! Former Employee

SteelHere

Nov 17, 2008, 2:12 PM
I have a interesting problem. I am a former employee of Sprint and have one of the SERO plans for $15 and the line I have is eligible for an upgrade. How do I get the upgrade since I have to use I-Connect to preform the change or go to Reston, VA. It's a 500 F&F Plan with unlimited data and texting. Would I lose the plan if I bought a HTC Pro and did just a simple ESN Swap? Not sure I have a way around getting a discount on the phone, but just thought I would ask if I could get my hands on one.

It's just a simple ESN swap with contract extension for 2 years if you want to keep the same plan.

I did it 2 weeks ago with my SERO account at BestBuy where I got the HTC Pro. The phone was $300 and 20% BB smartphones rebate = $240.

The only phone not eligible for SERO is Sansung Instinct

Hope this helps

Its an Advantage account. SERO has a contract, Advantage accounts dont. I'll think of a way, the only way I see possible is calling the Campus store and seeing if they can ship you one out of their campus 😲

actually, once they realize that you are no longer a Sprint employee, you're gonna lose your $15 plan no matter what phone you have on it. The same thing happened to me when I quit. I would avoid doing anything to the line that draws attention to it, otherwise they're gonna realize you don't work there and you'll lose your line. And then they'll put you on SERO, which is $30, not $15. If you're fine with that, then don't worry about it.

Sprint is suppose to begin audits on employee EDRP as well as DA lines starting 1Q9 for compliance and accuracy via CLIDs. Don't worry SteelHere, your DA line's days are numbered. 😁
