my phone was stolen tonight and i DO HAVE the 7/month insurance. Istead of calling sprint customer care and telling them, can i go to the sprint store? will they replace it, because i really don't want to wait 2 weeks or w/e the wait is.
no store can replace a stolen phone. you need to call asurion. they offer a overnight option but most people get them in 2 or 3 biz days. also, if you have a older phone you can activate it after you file the claim so you are not without a phone. be prepared to pay the $50 deductible over the phone.
if your phone got stolen just call insurance dept. right away. for NEXTEL phones call SIGNAL and for SPRINT phones call ASURION...ayt! don't call customer care coz they'll transfer you directly to telesales dept. which telesales will transfer you properly to the right dept.. that is if you have insurance...
