dumbest known issue ever!!!
check this out... when you are sending a text message on an instinct and you typ in the word "microbrew" your phone locks up and will not unlock until the phone automatically turns itself off.
i've had to deal with this issue twice today and each time i had to inform the customer that it is a known issue and we are working on it.
try explaining to a customer that the reason there phone shut down is beacuse they typed in the word "microbrew"!

wow... I take it this is the first time you have heard of this? It's been known for a while now and is being worked on, same with any phone there is going to be issues, yeah I know some people can't understand and its hard to explain but oh well they wont type microbrew tell them to put a space and it works.

my newest test is to have the customer type in "microbrew" to make sure there text services are working!

If you type the word ‘microbrew’ in the text composer, device will freeze up
and eventually power cycle. Spelling variations of the word ‘microbrew’
will also cause same behavior.
Pending software fix in BH06.
Instructional Note: Use “micro brew†with a space to bypass issue until
fix is available.
• If you already know what the correct NAI should be, you may edit
the NAI on device via ##DATA# and just backspace over the
extra characters.
