What does everybody think of the Curve 8330 from Sprint? I have Nextel and have the 7100i and it is very very slow on the internet. Just wanted to know how the service was with this phone. The salesperson from the store said that Sprint, Verizon and Alltel share towers and it is a ton better than Nextel. I was thinking of checking out AT&T also, but wanted to get thoughts on this.

If you want to keep Nextel, there's a curve launching with PTT. But if data's your main concern, Sprint's 3G is the fastest in the nation.

Still I think he is looking for a faster data network overall, and while wifi is nice, sometimes it's not the best option. I own the mogul, which is also a wifi enabled device and I never use it, because we have REV A in my area, and it's basically as fast as most public wifi areas.

Anyways, I definantly think the 8330 would be the best option for you, Blackberry has had several software updates and you'll find the UI much easier to navigate with the pearl track ball, and with a data plan you'd be able to usilize a lot of the newer EVDO capable features such as Telenav navigation and Sprint TV.

I so go for the curve 8330. Worst case scenario you hate it, you have a 30 day return or exchange period.
