That esn is going to be no good for a while until the account completely cancels and goes into collections or it's paid.

Are you eligible to upgrade?

If the account is suspended due to non payment, the ESN is stuck. If the account is NPD the full ammount has to be paid in full to have the account active, to do an ESN swap. If the account is in Write Off status, the account has a few months to make the payment arangments. Therefore the account is locked with the ESN attatched to the account. Any temp. credits to keep an account active, would be through Sprint's finance dept. It all depends on the account's payment history.
