this happened yesterday in a similar situation. we just used the customers Wifi on his laptop and used the connection were getting from the Demo Linksys router in our store. Worked like a charm. I would try that, or see if he can use your ethernet cord for a few minutes to download it. All you need is on Sprint.com/Download
Then just choose the Mobile Broadband option. Welp, hope this helps 😉

download the software on a thumbdrive, then transfer it to his computer in the store.
