Jitterbug Phone on Sprint?

Does anyone know if its possible to put a Samsung Jitterbug phone on Sprints network? It would be great for my gma.Thanks.

I am not sure what technology Jitterbug uses, but if it is CDMA then yes it is. You just have to have the software flashed. If you do a search for flashing cell phones on google you will find a lot of reliable options.

However before you go through all of that, it would probably be easier to find already on the Sprint network that is simple to use, has a huge display, and large buttons.

The LG Muziq has all of those qualities. i know it has many other features, but that doesnt mean she would have to use them.

That won't work.

The decision last year required carriers to provide the subisidy lock codes for people to be able to take their phone to another carrier- if that carrier is able and willing to activate it.

So, a departing Sprint customer can get their MSL and have Cricket or similar companies flash their phone and use it there. But, Sprint won't activate a phone not intended for its network.

As for a perfect phone for the user above, I would recommend the Samsung a560. It's a few years old now so you'd have to look on ebay to pick one up. It's relatively small, but has large buttons, large font, no internet.
