Yean...Question
On my memory card I have my music showing up as a .KOZ from my previous phone. Do you know if it can be converted into a MP3?
...
.koz is the file extension of songs downloaded from the Sprint Music store. As far as I know you can't convert them to MP3s. However, if you are looking to get the songs again you can. If you go to the music store and then to your song library you can press menu and select "web sync." Your phone will then re-download your music at no charge. Depending on how many songs you had I would recommend leaving yourself some time to download them all as it can be a time consuming process. Hope that helps.

And the .koz file is encrypeted so that it will only work with your phone number. That means you can't purchase them on one phone number and move them to another phone number using the .koz file. You can go to the Digital Lounge on Sprint.com and log into your account and download them as an MP3 file there. You can only download them once as an MP3.

To junglemassive and MrHawaii, thanks for that info, I had asked yean cause Yean new how my upgrade went from phone to phone. So, to let you all know, I went from the Samsung M500 to the LG Rumor. On my Memory card, I see the .KOZ files for the music I had. Also, my online Sprint account no longer shows my music from when I had the M500 and I did not get all of my music that I had purchased in MP3 format for the PC. So, basically, I am trying to recover those songs that I had purchased. Any idea's on how to do that or if the options mentioned before still apply, please let me know. Again, yo...
