I have an interview next week, the manager told me on the phone that i'm basically just a drug test short (which isn't a problem) from being hired due to my sales exp. just want to make sure the $ is worth it. I was told by the rep that sold me my phone that in his "B" store he made just under 50K last year. Does this sound about right? Does anyone know how to find a list of store classes (A,B,or C) or atleast how to check on a particular store?
...
At the moment I don't think there is a way to get a list of a,b, or c, stores.
I work at an A store and i would sau just under 50k is plausible but not likely for a new hire. I started at $10.60/ hour plus commision. And am now at 11
...
Yeah bro, do your job, and you'll see your pay above the 25K mark no matter what A, B, C, or whatever market your in. Work hard, and you'll get it!
...
I started at 10.60 an hour and made 45 thousand my first year in a B store... Just exceed quotas.. ( im not sure how much you will be able to make on the new commission structures that are changing soon tho)
...
I work in a C location and we start regular reps at 10.85/hr for base pay. If I were you I would not accept anything less than that. As for seniors, which is my position, once promoted we start at 12.00/hr base. I say base because commission is added to this base hourly pay. Remember this is a C store, so depending on your area you might be able to bargain for a better rate! Hope this helps 🙂

ok, thanks for all the info. Bottom line, what can I expect to ON AVERAGE bring in a month? I promise no more annoying questions.
...
no bro you're good. I would say maybe $1,600-$2000 on average per month?? really depends if youre there hitting hours, or if youre there makin sales! 😈
...
I worked there for a year and a half total... I made 42000 before tax my first year. But this is in Overland Park, KS area and it's a pretty good Sprint area (headquarters here). Not sure how it compares to the rest of the nation.
So about 2200-2500 a month after tax is not hard in this area.
...
how do u figure 42000 .. everyone here is grossly exagerating their annual pay. At 2500 per month you shoudldn't be making anymore than 30000 a yr.. and you included commision .. WHAT GIVES!
...
Ill just use myself as an example but if I say "I make $42000 a year" that means before taxes. So that is about $3500 a month. The $2500 a month is after taxes. My tax return was $2400 so in the end the actual take home pay was about $32,500 .
There are reps that make more or less than that, but that is a good middle point.
...
Also forgot to add the commission structure is always changing and when I left it was getting better... but not sure what they've done lately.

Yeah the guy that is trying to hire me said it was changing to be more retention driven. I guess it makes sense in sprints current situation.
...
a B store has less traffic then an A store. The quotas are usually a little lower in these stores, meaning if you exceed your quota you will be rewarded for it. However they are changing the commission structure around to where it is customer service based on 40% which takes quite a bit of change up. To make 50K a year you would have to make close to $24 an hour. This may not have been difficult with the old commission structure but in two months they are changing things dealing with commission.
