did ATT and VZW gain nearly 5 million customers last quarter and Sprint lost 600,000?

IT'S THE PHONES STUPID! Every week I see new phones for AT&T, and a new phone for VZW every two or three weeks and almost all of them ROCK!
Almost all of them are targeted for a specific user. Radio, small Mp3 player, 3MP camera, touch screen, mesaging.

Ok We got the 755p and the centro and the Rumor first... how many 755's did you sell before the centro came out? how many centro's have you sold? ho many rumors do you have in stock now?

I have a a message for the execs and everyone else in the command chain at Sprint and all of its affiliate providers.

You get us the phones, (and in some areas still; the EVDO network and coverage we need...

but the customer facing service. most of my customers that i see on a daily basis, refuse to work with anyone but me or someone in my store. they've had bad experiences with every other store in my district, and with cust care. i'm constantly told that, if not for me, my customers would be long gone to some other carrier.

ALSO, sprint hasn't done much of anything to make sure that out current customers stay customers since the merger. i don't know about before the S/N merger, since i'm legacy nextel, but in the last two years, this company has had one focus, and that was new subs. the problem with that is VERY apparent in last years numbers. WE NEED TO KEEP WHAT WE HAVE! the best advertising after-all is word of mouth.

1) Better phone selection asap... The Rumor was a master stroke.. about a year late. Sprint needed something like that a lot earlier. Please for the love of all that's holy.. give me something that doesn't look like a Razor to sell... PLEASE!!!

2) Better customer care... I don't mean the "welcome center" calling either.. which is more of a pain than anything else. I had to call tech support yesterday for a customer and was promptly hung up on because they kept transfering me to the wrong area. It was frustrating for me.. imagine a customer experiencing that and you're in bad shape.

3) Better advertising. Really, what is that new Sprint commercial advertising? A network? New phones? Glow sticks?

Yes the phones suck, Sprint needs to bring more younger generation phones on board. You would think they see AT@T and Verizon bringing on Nokia and LG and jump on board. What's up with the Rumor? Crappy screen resolution and poor styling. Centro is like carrying a brick, The MOTO 2 is like talking in a mirror, the button fall apart and can anyone say fingerprints! The Katana DLX had hope but once again what is with the shiney casing ahhhh

No the dial pad, after alot of use they start to peel off and fall apart. Does Sprint actually think people enjoy having phones that they have to wipe down after each use. Sprint stop already with the shiney like phones...

Yep,that sprint.. always MAKING phones that are shiny.

Wouldnt it be nice if they just provided a service, and some other company actually made the devices..
