Ten (10) years with Sprint & should I stay
When I got Sanyo M1 I had to call few time before they got it right.
Now I just upgraded to SERO - $49.99/month with a new PDA phone, and I noticed that they assigned a new phone number to the new phone with a plan I did not choose, after checking my account online
I understand the with the bad new of lay-off, they are under pressure and stressed out.
I did not get the phone yet but when I do I have to call CS or retention to get things straight. Why can they do it right the first time so I don't have to waist their time and mine to fix it???
May be I should go with Helio or Virgin Mobile. After all it's the ...

'The Sprint Employee Referral Offer is for new customers only. However, existing Sprint customers who are out of contract and renewing a Two-year Subscriber Agreement are also eligible for this offer.'
My contract was up 01/01/2008 and I want to upgrade to SERO with my current number (have it since 2000). I chose upgrade option from the website and I was expecting them sending me a phone that I have to call to activated with my current number....
It look like I have to call them on Tuesday when I get back in town. They are too busy on Mondays with the hight maintenance customers 😁

Not crappy where I am or I travel to.
That why I'm not going VZW or AT&T, they may be big but not for my money with their crappy plans.
Thanks

Fact is, with Sprint's prices and plans, they should not be bleeding customers like they are. Unless they are willing to pull CS back from India and start treating their customers well, and are going to stop giving away 5 lines to anyone and everyone even with ****ty credit, they are on a runaway train headed for a wall.
The new CEO has decided not to increase CS but close stores and terminate American jobs to save money. Saving money doesn't equate to saving customers and building confidence in new ones. It's just a sign of desperation. Sorry to all you past and present Sprint employees loosing more of their jobs now and to the Indian's earlier.
I am really just sick of hearing "SERO Plans are only for new customers. It is against company policy to upgrade existing customers to a SERO plan."
Why can't we hear "SERO Plans are only for new customers or customers with x+ years of loyalty to our company"?
I really want to upgrade my phone and switch over to a SERO plan, and my contract is up at the end of April. I have not been able to get them to upgrade me to a SERO Plan yet, so will I be able to when my contract is officially up?
It is just a slap in the face from Sprint to not offer this type of plan to loyal customers but new customers can get the pla...

Here is how I did it.
Go to sero site and sign for an upgrade.
Once you get the new phone (with a new number), call CS and activate the new phone with your current number, that way you never activate the new number.
Now you have your new phone with your current number and voila!!
You have to be very patient and polite to CS for this to work. They will make a lot of mistakes but it is at your advantage.
In my case it took me a month. Now I have SERO $50/month on my Samsung Ace I-325.
You can do it. 🤤
