Personal Opinion! Who's With Me?

So how many in here are actually closing down?
8% of its stores seems like a small number, but its not! I feel bad because to save money, Sprint is heading more downhill. Not enough local stores, means more calls into Customer Care, which is going to create more issues for the company with the troubles and lag times CC is having. Baaaaaaad idea to save money. Who's with me? if not, any other ideas, predictions etc?? thanks guys this should be interesing 😉

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Sprint backed out early. The whole switching the name of the series to Sprint Cup is merely a test. If things still look this bleak at season's end, look for Sprint to bail.

Sprint has always been a dwarf when compared to Verizon Wireless and at&t. All the merging of Sprint PCS and Nextel Communications did was creat chaos and confusion for customers. I'm so looking forward to the day Sprint bites the dust.

Why.. why does it matter so much in your life what another company does?
You realize we all have families, wife, husband, (both??), sons, daughters, etc.
We need jobs just as much as you, and you saying how you hope the company goes under says to me what kind of person you are. Someone that wishes harm and strife on someone else simply because of the color of their shirts.

Dude, grow up, stop hoping for failure, and just be happy with that which YOU have.. and wish other people the best.

The voice of compassion! 🙄

Sprint won't go under, some other company will simply buy them out, and maybe change the name. They own a ton of radio spectrum, and nobody is going to let that happen with the kind of holdings they have. Get real. 🙄

I hate that Sprint lost customers, and will be forced to lay off employees, that sucks.

My point is this: Whether Sprint continues to survive or go under, SOME COMPANY SOMEWHERE will buy them out. The towers they have, spectrum holdings, and technology base that is used and relied upon by over 90% of government and businesses nationwide, is a valuable commodity to SOMEBODY. If you believe otherwise, you're living in a fantasy land.

The federal government alone relies heavily on Sprint's iDEN network, and has expressed int...

Welcome to the jungle as Guns & Roses put it. The potential for being the victim of a corporate down sizing is the price you pay for working for a Fortune 500 company.

I wish Verizon Wireless would buy Sprint Nextel and just convert the iDEN base stations over to CDMA ones and use the 850 MHz spectrum alond with their PCS one.

Allowing for more indirect options, like AT&T does? In WA AT&T has nearly forty times the amount of indirect locations to corporate ones.
