Of course they did. Just like burning CD's is illegal. You bought the ringtone, your friend didn't. Why should they get it for free?

Your own music? You produced the music yourself?

I'm doubting that. Either way. Only certain file types can be shared via bluetooth, contacts and photos I know for sure.

Actually, I own my own house. My disliking techno "music" means I don't have my own place? Weird.

"Techno Music" is an oxymoron. Like "Jumbo Shrimp" or "Good customer service from a sprint call center",

to answer your question, yes, it is disabled on sprint phones. if you made it from your own music and want a friend to have it, go to 3gupload.com and send it to your friends/family from there.

😲 you said the word PEEPEE! true, he was being very opinionated and should have be more helpfull in answering your question instead of disputing the taste he has in your music. if i remember correctly that website lets your take any music,or upload your own music and you can crop any 30 seconds of that song and either send it to your phone or a friends phone. let me know how it does for you.

After reading the whole mess below, I'll chime in...

It really depends on what phones you are using. Bluetooth does provide for the transfer of ringtones depending on the model of phone. The model of phone must be capable of FTP transfer via Bluetooth in the Bluetooth profile. Some are, some aren't. It's not necessarily a Sprint thing, but what features the manufacturer decided to include.

So, which phones are you working with?
