How to hard reset the mogul

hey guys, i need your help. i want to hard reset my sprint mogul. and clean everything out, like manufacture settings. how do i do that??

"What does a Hard Reset do and how is it performed?
A Hard Reset restores the device to its default settings — the way it was when you first purchased it and turned it on. Any programs you installed, data you entered, and settings you customized on the device will be lost. Only Windows MobileTM software and other pre-installed programs will remain.

To perform a hard reset

-Power the device OFF.

-Press and hold the left and right Soft Keys

-Keep the two buttons pressed, and at the same time, use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button. If successful, you will get a white screen with blue text asking you to confirm the reset.

...just go to Start >>> Settings >>> "System" Tab >>> Clear Storage. Push 1234 and click Yes. There ya go man 😉

where is the reset button?? using the styles?

Reset button is on the bottom of the device to the left of the charge/data port, below the microSD Card slot. Yes, use the stylus to do this.

If you are selling it, I'd recommend doing a ##rtn on it which also clears your telephone number, vision username, etc out of the phone.

You'd have to call customer service or visit a store to have that done as you need your phone's subsidy code.

No prob man, but outta curiosity, which method did you do? Holding down the 2 soft keys and pushing the hole at the bottom, or going to "Clear Storage" under the programs menu and do it that way? 😁

my method was holding down the 2 soft keys and pushing the reset hole. it clean everything up!!! it wiped it out, everything is like new now.
