Upstage with data access, but no voice??
yo. what's up?
ever had this happen? someone with a Power Vision phone, on an Ensemble acct, come in after upgrading, and have data access, but no voice?
i'm on with tech support right now, and they can't seem to find anything wrong on the acct, and think it's just as wierd as i do that it's got data access, but nothing else...
i tried sending/recieving a text, and nothing happened. so it seems that it's ONLY got data access. i can't think of anything else to try on it.
anyone got ideas?

Have u had tech support check esm?? make sure that they dont have a ghost hotline. Happens a lot in ensemble when they do activations or esn swaps.

Wouldn't suprise me if Sprint wasn't going another Ensemble update and failed to inform us of the fact.

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with Ensemble just yet. Check ESM, when they make a call, what is the error? Programming needs to be checked. If it's ASL, make sure there's no ASL hotline. Reload HLRs and hit the reset hole on the upstage afterwards.
Really need more info on past and current call processing tho. Would need to look at the settings on the network.

Put the old phone on the account, to see if the phone service works. If it works, it's the new phone not reading to the network. Or, it may be stuck in the switch. Double check the programming. If all fails, PM me and I'll send you Ensemble tech supports number.

i ended up in tech support after about an hour working with care, and we couldn't figure out what the problem was. in the end, the tech lady changed the MSID and the phone worked fine. the whole time the OLD phone was making and receiving phone calls, but no data.
