NO COMM. ANYMORE
I have friends who work at a corp. store in the Northeast and there in test area where reps aren't getting paid commission just a straight salary. So they take there old salary plus what the target commission dollars would be plus a bonus depending on how long you have worked for Sprint and thats your base. so for example 25,000(salary) 14600(commision) plus 9,000 (bonus) making it 48,600. Anyone else heard of this, Like i said its in a trial market to let customers know that the reps are there to help not make money.
...
Which markets/stores are they doing this in with Sprint?
...
I know they are testing it in the DC market right now.
...
Does anyone happen to have any insight as to what the motivations behind this shift in pay might be?
...
A focus on customer service rather than sales? I just dont see reps that are not on commision driving the incremental adds.
...
Yea exactly.
If I get paid more for doing more, guess what.. I do more.
I dont think I could work near as hard as I do now if it werent for commissions.
...
LOL black and gold i'm not telling you anymore then Northeast, i have a feeling you might be Ray the snitch......but i do know this it makes the reps not want to work as hard
...
the backend of that is if you don't make your targets often enough, you end up on the chopping block.
