Do you know wait i can't wait for?
I can't wait till next year when I switch to the Verizon equivalent of an innovative Sprint phone

Wow.
I can attest though that I have been with Cingular, Verizon, and now am with Sprint.

Given Sprint's phones may not look as cool as the iPhone but what is really important is they are by far some of the most functional phones I have ever used. My signal quality is by far superior to anything I have experienced with other carries. I currently am using the Palm Treo 755 and its messaging and media features rival the functionality of the iPhone any day.

If you need a phone that is so flaming that you have to question its sexuality I suggest some bling stickers as they are far less expensive than switching carriers. Not everyone needs a shiney sexy phone to be happy, those of us that are intelligent realize that a functional phone ...

agreed, except for one thing.

sprint has never cancelled anyone for excessive data use. not with an appropriate plan. we are not VZW. here, unlimited actually means unlimited.

I'd pay his cancelation fees just so he can go away. No company deserves to have idiots like that as customers.

i'm with you. i'll pitch in a buck.

----for the record, from what i've read the iPhone is nothing more than another hyped up flashy toy and you'll wind up paying astronomical fees just to use it. not worth it. sprint has good phones, and i've never had a problem with service.

I know i got dropped from VZW for data usage and cingular for "off-network roaming" even though i live and use my phone in thier coverage area.... the world is retarded. What can i say. It is really expensive even with no cancellation fees to switch cell companys and over the last 3 years I have spent more than $3200 moving around. I was trying to convey that but alas I suppose I wasnt all there.

Dear Mr, Miss, or Mrs Walker24,

I'm pretty sure Sprint loves your money,
Sprint's crying all the way to the bank,
Sprint's selection can improve,
Sanyo is a great manufature for Sprint,
Sanyo's styles have and will change,
Didn't know Sprint was offered the iPhone,
Due to customer base,
Business, iDen network, spectrum, etc.
Your guess is as good as mine,
Don't follow "to your sisters advice",
Wait or leave if your not happy,
wait for WiMax ๐Ÿคฃ

I'm pretty sure Sprint will miss your business if the retention dept. doesn't get you.

I thought this is what Phone forums are for.
It's for phone geeks to unite and share the latest news or concerns about mobile devices. I do have friends but they don't understand the importance of the "coolness" of mobile devices!
Thats why i come here to phonescoop, to share and talk ( type) about the latest news, pic, leaks, or rumors and what not.

thank you,

if he doesnt like sprint then he doesnt like sprint!! Wow is like he insulted you instead of the company he doesnt like!??? i know alot of peps with sprint, most of my friends have sprint and i hear nothing but complaints! i was about to switch to sprint becaus i save alot of money with mobile to mobile i was to scared to do so because my friends cant wait till the contract is over. and the complaints are for diffrenent reason: bad costumer service, no signal, weird charges on theere bills, crappy phones etc.

me, i only care that i have signal and that all the features i paid for are working. and my bill better come correct!!!! so as soon as i got out of my contract with tmobile i skipped sprint and went to alltel. very happy now!!!! ...

i dont get it..all the sprint threads are dumb..then people in the other threads get mad when we(sprint) join theirs. This whole thread has been about a 14yr old kid and his dislike for sprint! is that pressing the issue people..? Walker its simple..think of sprint as the Fat chic thats fun to hang around because she cooks you a lot of food...Think of verizon as the hott chic but you have 2 have money to get on that ride. Think of At&t as the Hott chic's jealous friend whose a slut and lets everyone on free. Think of Tmobile as the sluts little sister..she's cute but who cares.

Nextel had the lowest churn of any wireless carrier prior to its merger with Sprint. You don't achieve a goal like that by being "crappy".

All carriers have pluses and minuses, as well as those who have had both positive and negative experiences. The best service anyone can have is one that works best where they work and live, and it's a complete waste of money to buy anything else.

A good "for instance" is a couple I know who live in Birchwood, Tn. and use Verizon as their carrier. Verizon has zero coverage there, and when you can get a signal, you're roaming. The man works at Olin Chemicals, another dead zone for Verizon.

They cannot use their phones at home, or where he works, and they are spending $90+ for their service. In my o...

AMEN... I wish more people would realize that national coverage, web speed, and fewest dropped whatever means nothing if the phones doesnt work where you need it to.. and that you should pick a phone company based on your needs and not the opioin of others because truthfully a lot of times that view is very skewed...

Yes, I agree.
Tommy Lee Jones character in Men in Black said "A person is smart, people are stupid." Nextel had great service and a loyal following. They still have loyal customers, because the folks that chose them usually knew someone in their neighborhood, family or group who bragged about a service that was top notch where they lived and worked. Then the referred client came in and tried it for themselves.
Many of the Sprint-Nextel consumers, especially the Sprint consumers, are very "image" and "keep up with the Jones'" motivated. They DO follow the marketing. They DO believe the commercials.
My take on it, and I have always said it, "Customers are like cows. They go where they see a bunch of other cows eating some grass an...

Joining Nextel??? That depends on how it's phrased and perception. This was a buyout in hopes of the end result raising Sprint's ARPU. That apparently back-fired. I swear, Sprint's executives were eating crayons while figuring this one out. It perplexes me...

If they would've just left enough alone and little by little (w/o the FCC getting in a tiff) bought their regional affiliates a little at a time (even though their presence only helped SPCS' bottom line) they would have better been positioned to buy Alltel and call it a day.

Now, they're stuck! Marketing sucks, you can't integrate a pile of vomit with, well, anything.

For the investors sake, I hope this JV w/ the cable carriers helps. If not, they can add that to th...

Everyone always complains without knowing. It always drives me crazy when people knock Sprint, or any carrier for that matter without understanding all of the pros and cons of those companies.
Do a search, read somethings, Sprint offers the best of everything. Well, almost. I wish they were using the R-UIM cards. They that would shut these stupid GSM freaks up. GSM has nothing over CDMA except for SIM cards.
