Samsung A680 vs. Sanyo 8200
I and several other SPCS users (all of which are current or former employees of SPCS including myself) have had several phones and used them in various parts of the country and we have always found that SANYO gives you the best/most consistent reception...period. I personally prefer the style and features of SAMSUNG phones but I will probably never have another SAMSUNG phone because of weak signal issues. I've carried at least 6 different SAMSUNGS & 6 different SANYOS (including the 8200) and this has always been the case. I'm currently using the SANYO 5500(VM4500).

The Sanyo has a bigger screen and takes better pictures in the dark, but does not have the video capabilities. It has a speakerphone (which the a680 does not) and PTT, but that is it. The a680 takes it from here with a multitude of things that the 8200 cannot do. It has a screen on the outside of the phone that can display pictures and works as a veiwer for the camera when the flip is closed. Don't worry about trying to use your 8200's camera when the flip is closed. The 8200's ringer volume is terrible and the speakerphone sucks and doesn't pick up your voice unless you shout into it.
