Is there a manual firmware update for the A900?

So I bought my A900 when they first came out. I was a bit disappointed when Samsung decided to release a new phone (A900m) to fix all the bugs in the A900 instead of providing a firmware update to bring the A900 up to date. Although I have read about numerous issues with the A900 that were fixed in the A900m, my two biggest complaints with the A900 are:

- Bluetooth compatibility (this wasn't a big issue until I just bought a new 2008 Land Rover LR2 and the car's bluetooth system does not detect my A900 at ALL! It detects my fiance's RAZR and I also went to a Sprint store and tested the new UpStage and they work just fine with my LR2)

The Samsung A900M has already been discontinued. If you've had your Samsung A900 less than a year, guess what? You'll be forking out the retail price of $229.99 for a Samsung A900M. If you're having issues with your handset, more than likely if you have the Total Equipment Protection/TEP or Equipment Service and Repair Program/ESRP and take it to one of the Sprint TSRs with your Samsung A900, you'll get another A900 in its place. So the short to your question, no!

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured. My A900 turned a year old back in March, so maybe I'll just call Sprint customer service and see if they can go ahead and qualify me for the $150 trade-in early (they did last time!), especially since this phone is so buggy.

Then the question becomes, what phone to replace my A900? The M1, the UpStage, or the M610? ;)

Seeing how you have the A900, I'd suggest the M610 as it's slimmer than the A900, has a higher resolution for the digital camera, is stereo Bluetooth compliant and will take up to 2 GB for a microSD card for multimedia storage.
