Blackberry or Treo Syncing with Outlook Calendars Question...
I have a customer that works for two companies so he needs access to two email accounts. No problem there, I know both the Treo and Blackberry can both handle multiple email accounts. Here's the kicker:
Is it possibble to sync the calendars from TWO outlook accounts into ONE calendar on a device? If so can it be done on both the Treo AND the Blackberry, or will one do it better than the other???
An answer for my customer will result in a new act for my store so anyone's help is appreciated and prompt responses will earn bonus points!!!
Thanks in advance for everyone's help!
If you are on a BES server it may not be allowed - depends on the IT Policies on the device.
By sync if you mean exchange server syncing, having two exchange servers than yes, but everytime you sync the information stored on the device, it will show up on both outlooks on their computera.
My advice is use goodlink for one, (that has its own calender and datebook)
Then use Versamail for the other e-mail. Keeps everything neat and seperate.
JM techie stuff like that I can answer fast and I have my PM sent to my Treo so anything you need like that PM me.
But yes, I am talking about syncing between two exchange servers. So what I gather from SL_VA and mobile_trojan, it is possible. Just set up each email/outlook account as the first and second of the ten possible emails on the device. The only caveat being when it is synced, the stuff from one outlook calendar will show up in his other outlook calendar? If that is the case, I think that should work for him.
Now can this be done on both the Blackberry and the Treo? Would you guys recommend one over the other based on JUST this question? (We all know the Treo beats the pants off the Blackberry.)
Thanks guys for all your input, my techie employee is out of the country and he is the one I...

The blackberry is incapable of doing it.
as others have mentioned, if the syncing is being done over the air (as in with an exchange server) then i dont see you being able to setup more than one.
with the BB, someone mentioned the BES server, this is like exchange server syncing, but better. however, the company he works for would have to own a BES server, which is rare, since they cost tens of thousands of dollars per year to maintain. i dont see you being able to setup a BB to sync with two BES servers either.
so, if they are simply doing this at two PCs, as i assumed w...
