Any new smartphones on the horizon
geoffMar 13, 2007, 4:32 PM
I currently have a Treo 700p and don't have any problems with it.
However, everytime I look up there's something newer and better and smaller coming out. Whether it's the Blackjack, the 750, Blackberry Pearl, or something like that, all this stuff is now out there, but I can't get any of it with Sprint.
I have had absolutely no problems with Sprint regarding their service or anything else during the 7 or 8 years I've been with them. To be honest I've had some very very good experiences with them so changing carrier's isn't an option.
Has anyone heard of Sprint getting some of the newer smartphones? There are just too many out there that Sprint should be able to get at least some of them within the first 6 months that they are out.

HTC is suppose to be releasing a PPC-6800 which in essence will replace the PPC-6700 sold by Alltel Wireless, Verizon Wireless as well as Sprint sometime 2Q. It'll be interesting to see if we pick up the device. When I worked for AT&T Wireless, HTC made a device for Siemens called the SX56 which at the time rocked so I believe if the PPC-6800 is anything like the SX56 in terms of quality of reception and battery life, I hope we do.

I am reporting you to super extereme nazi ethics hotline, you shouldn't be releasing this information until the phone has been released for 2 years straight, then you will be able to fill out a form, that will allow you to do such. *cough* 🤣 🤣 🤣 *cough*
