So, I was doing some browsing on ebay trying to locate some headphones for my razr when I came across some interesting pictures of the V3i. What was so 'interesting' about these pictures?? The service provider in the back of the screen holds the name of one great company name: T-Mobile
Now, I'm not too sure what that means exactly, maybe we're getting it/maybe we're not. I'm quite positive that Verizon will be getting the V3c, due to the fact that it has streaming video casting..but hey--I'd be happy with either.
Anywho- Below are links to the pictures that I found. I moved them to my photobucket account because the ebay page will probably expire within a few days (but i'll add in the link for that page below anyway).
Pleas...

Yes, Verizon will be getting the V3c, it is advertised as coming soon on the Verizon Wireless website. And that is CDMA, so we wouldn't get it at T-Mo. The pictures of the V3i you saw were some that have been around for awhile. That was the prototype phone. All it means is that for that photo, they used T-Mo sim card to test with. Doubtful that it is coming to T-Mo anytime soon. More than likely going to Cingular. However, T-Mo is getting the Samsung t809. đ

From What I know: T-Mobile will get Blue and pink Razr as well as Motorola Pebl and Samsung t809 , Cinglular will get a Razr V3i.
Which is not bad considering that average people would rather get a Pebl than a Razr V3i. Because Razr V3i is gonna be looked at as an upgrade where Pebl is brand new Phone.

Here's a weird thing I heard on Friday. My friends wife is with T-Mobile and the vendor she goes to said that she would be able to get the V3i for T-Mobile soon. That doesn't compute to me. I know that no news on carriers has been stated yet, but I figure we all think it will be a Cingular phone. The only other details I can give on it is that the vendor is on an Air Force installation. He told her that it would be coming soon and that she could stay with T-Mobile. Sounds kind of odd to me.

sounds very odd with the t809 and the pebl i can't beleave cingy would let t-mo get there flag ship phone!!!!! They have to have deaper pockets then t-mo but it would be nice to see cingy get aced out on this one!
...
Actually with DT's backing T-Mobile USA has the deeper pockets.
...
well then lets see them spend some of that $$$$ and leap past cingy for overall quality of a company no one can match t-mo's price points on plans now we just need the best technology.

Talked to a T-Mobile store rep yesterday. He said that they are testing the V3i right now. Although he did admit, that doesn't mean that Cingular won't get an exclusive on the phone. I ended up buying the V3 last from my t-mobile. I just couldn't justify spending 300 on the T809 when I could get the V3 for 100.

I agree...there is a total of $6 bil earmarked for TMobile USA from DT in 2006. From what I understand of it up to $4 bil is for purchases of other smaller companies to expand our footprint for coverage and the other $2 bil is for spectrum purchases which will enable us to get 3g services around the end of 06-start of 07.

I think your forgetting a little company called SBC/at&t. Just like T-Mobile Cingy has father companies in very high places. As for the V3i its going to cingular 1st quarter of 2006. The T-809 that T-Mobile has is equally cool though. Seems T-Mobile is moving up in the world as far as phone selection with the T-809 and the pebl. I work for cingy and my girlfriend works for T-Mobile so we both have employee accounts. The question is do I hold off and get the V3i or do I port my number on my girlfriends T-Mobile account and get the T-809. Decisions Decisions.

Wait and see is my advice. The V3i looks great and so does the T809. Wait for the V3i though to verify it, it's not like the T809 is going anywhere for a while. đ
