Need some help

I'm relatively new to T-Mobile (used to be a Verizon member... but naturally they're too expensive). Anyways, I have a sidekick and am extremely happy with it, minus the size of it... it's huge!! and now its become a problem and I am looking for a smaller phone. I've looked at the ones that are avail for T-Mobile and honestly, not too excited about any of them minus maybe the Sharp. My question is this... What exactly do I need to look for if I buy a phone that is not from T-Mobile so that it works on their system and with the SIM card? Any help is appreciate and if there are any recommendations for phones on and off the T-mobile site, that would be helpful too. Thank you!!

Any unlocked 1900Mhz GSM phone can be used on our network, but some things like TZones can be problematical and require us sending you settings to make it work. As for what kind of phone, it depends on what features are important to you. Me, I'm partial to Samsungs as I've never had a spot of trouble with mine and they do their job without a bunch of hassle. No Bluetooth available in Samsung, though, which is something I'd kinda like.

Yeah, I'd like Bluetooth as well. You have any specific models that you recommend? Basically I would like a phone that has the capability to play good ringtones and has a good camera. And I would like Bluetooth if thats avail. I heard the Motorola V330 is coming out soon, what do you think of that phone?

Personally I wouldn't have a Moto if it were beer flavored and came with a side of naked cheerleaders, but that's just me... 🤣 Right now our phone selection is a little skimpy, but that will change I'm sure. If you can find one of those Sharps, they're pretty sweet. No BT, but the memory card works just fine for transferring files and it's a megapixel camera with a very nice screen and excellent resolution on the pix--it's a little thick but not terribly so, not totally stylish looking but it gets the job done for a really decent price...

Would the Siemens S66 work on the T-Mobile network? And if so, does anyone know if this phone is good or not?
