can you tell me what the difference between a motorola v180 and v188? i have a v180 and t-mobile sending me a v188 because v180 is not working properly? any info would be help full

I have one: it is a much more stble phone. It is quad band, has Edge capability. The opersting system has been improved as well as the browser. Battery length has also been extended. A good example of what T-Mobile can do when working directly with a phone manufacturer. It is a no-frills phone, good reception and it is not heavy.

That'd be fine if it was true. But battery length is far worse on this phone. Yes, standby has been extended, but actual talk time has been cut down from the V180's 9+ hours to the V188's 3.75 hours. On top of that the V180 is 900/1800/1900 which is the world. The V188 adds 800 which (for now, though I understand this may change soon) is not used by Tmo...
