T-mobile

đŸ˜ĸ I am fan of t-mobile and when i signed up with them i signed because they seem to be technologically sound in 2003 and a company on the move. They have not changed anything major since 03. I see cingular with all the new technology and i left them for T-mobile. What is t-mobile going to do. I think they better come up with something besides Caller-tunes, which are doing horrible. I really do not want to leave this company.I would be willing to pay a few extra dollars for good technology and phones not Cingular prices because they are not geared to the people any more.I really hope t-mobile gives the competition a fight rather than just lack in the far distance. I really fell that t-mobile is losing its class and falling to the local mi...

I don't know, but after reviewing all of Cingulars new technology, I find that it is basically the same technology in a new wrapper. The V3 for instance is a nice looking phone, but it doesn't have megapixel or expansion cards. Maintain the love you have of T-Mobile. Although they look like they are behind the tech curve, that is only because they have released any new "wrappers", that's all. The technology T-Mobile uses is good solid and reliable. And has the same basic features.

First of all, that open mouth comment was not directed at you, but the person that attack my previous response to you, which I believe I showed you respect and tried to provide you good information. So, I apologize if you feel I attacked you, but since you are going that way here you go. First of all, EDGE is not on T-Mo, your right, but then again, why would T-Mo really want it since it was old news before it ever got started. High-speed what a laugh. As far as tech goes, T-Mo has the Wi-Fi, GSM, and does offer a nice complement of phones that offer mega pixel if you like or blue-tooth, which is the common great crazy right now in technology. Yes, cingular has the second largest network in regards to coverage, but in many areas T-Mo do...

I think the bickering is pointless, there are numerous wireless services for a reason, pick one and move on with your life. no one cares. 🙄

I abhor ugliness, with which this thread is rife! 😉 , but I must humble myself as a total newbie to the world of cellular communication. Since there are conflicting opinions here, I would like to hear from both sides regarding a simple issue: Will T-Mobile keep me happy IF all I want is a good, reliable, and inexpensive cell phone???
Very recently I've been forced to crawl out from under a rock and get mobile for a new career, and I just need to be solidly connected; I don't care about games, internet access, a built in microwave-oven, digital pet rock, HDTV, etc. T-mobile sounds like what I need and can afford at this time; any insight would sincerely be appreciated.

I hate to say
but T-Mobile has more freedom than others (most GSM 3 and 4 band phones can be used, as long as the phone is unlocked; truly unlimited GPRS, no surprise)
the billing summary is the most easy to be read, the summary on Cingular...makes my head swirl like flurries 😕

You want technology...how about this?
T-Mobile-around November/December of this year will be launching a new type of technology that uses a cable connection and a router to get you perfect in home coverage?
It uses a standard cable connection/a standard wi-fi router and a wifi enabled phone (which will be launched at the same time).
Lets say that you get sucky service in home but outside of your house you have pretty good service.
If you drive your car into your garage the phone automatically starts searching for your wifi router connection to get service and its a seamless transition.
This is something that TMobile has been developing with Charter Communications for around a year and put in over 1/2 bil. into it. People complain our s...
