The V3 Razor in a Cingular exclusive. There will be no other carrier, includeing TMobile that will r even can carry this phone. Motorola can send a model to T-Mobile, but it will not & can not be the V3. Cingular paid Motorola to build this phone for them. They are also releasing a black version of the V for Cingular ONLY...

Your wrong! Cingular only had that phone as an exclusive model for the 1st 90 days, which is well over now. Someone posted on here that a Motorola rep came into a T-Mobile call center with a T-Mobile branded model, which is expected real soon. Now any carrier can carry the V3 if they want. And I read that a black V3 is on the way. So, maybe T-mobile might get the new Black V3 model. But, hey, the V3 is garbage compared to its features and HIGH price.

I agree. I would not pay for the phone with it's limited features. However, Cingular paid Motorola to build the razor. So Cingular decides when it can be sold to other carriers. That is what exclusive means

Actually, the RAZR has already been offered for T Mobile Germany for a while now. So I think you're wrong. Whenever the 90 days is up, any other GSM carrier can grab it.

I work for a Cingular dealer & have used the v3 extensively in-store. It really is a pretty cool phone - but I wouldn't ever pay anything close to $500 for it. Maybe $150? I think you'd be paying an extra $350 just for style/form-factor. People who are willing to spend $500 for a phone like the v3 have more money than they've got brains. There are SO many other phones out on the market that can do so much more & still cost less. I usually refer people who want the v3 to the v551 (just as good & a lot less $). I think Tmobile supports the v505, which is almost the same as the v551.

Also, the reports of the Moto rep pitching the v3 to Tmobile are correct. Cingular doesn't have an all-time exclusive on the phone. It was limited to...

I wouldn't count on the V3 coming to T-Mobile USA. I have said it before. The Motorola reps said that T-Mo and Motorola couldn't come to an agreement on the V3 and that T-Mo USA would not be using the V3 here in the US.

Samsung E865 is ugly, D500 is more good looking. Too bad, D500 does not have expansion card. If it does I'd buy it.
