Under terms and conditions #7 it says "We may terminate your Service or change your rate plan at any time, with notice, if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your use of the Service is excessive, unusually burdensome, or unprofitable to us."
What would be determined as excessive or burdensome use? Is anyone ever terminated for this?

It's kind of like Cingular and Verizons T&C's: Using a roaming partner too much may cause us to temrinate you. That's when it becomes unprofitable as we are having to pay too much to the roaming partner for your usage. As well as other reasons.

I've never seen an account terminated for this. It's a general disclaimer that can be found in similar terminology on all wireless carriers' T&C's.

For instance, Sprint charges you $5/mo for free roaming last I checked. If more than half of your usage is roaming, not only will they remove that feature from your account and begin billing you roaming, but in some cases they will cancel your account and charge an early termination fee.

I'm not too sure how often this happens though...Again, I've never seen an account cancelled f...

I have worked with T-Mobile for 2 and half years on various levels, and I have never seen this happen. I know with Verizon, they reserve the right to start charging you for "too much roaming". That is obsurd. It is all legal BS that we sales reps have no time for.

The only actual cancellation I've ever seen that falls under this category was this incredibly crazy woman who would change back and forth from individual to family plans two or three times a month (each change resulted in a cancelled account record due to the way the billing system works), change her mobile number several times a month (sometimes twice a DAY!)--she had about 56 cancelled accounts and over 150 mobile number changes just in the course of about five months, with multiple calls per day about various issues, most of which were escalated due to her hostility and incredibly abusive language... First she was put onto written correspondence only and barred from number changes, then eventually cancelled and every single one of the a...
