Does T-Mobile ever "reset" their towers? If so, when would this typically occur? Thanks.

Are you referring to the procedure (and I'm not quite sure how it works, as I have little experience working with CDMA) where VZW phones can be reset to certain towers and vise versa? (Just as example)

To my knowledge our towers undergo routine maintenence, what the schedule is, I don't know. This would be the only reason that they would be turned off for a short amount of time. Your sim/phone may be reset in the iHLR, but thats not quite the same thing as a "tower".

Could you perhaps provide a little more clarification as to what capacity, or procedure you're talking about referring to resetting, or for what purpose are you inquiring?

I have full signal where I live and yesterday there was a period of about 15 minutes where I had no signal at all. I tried searching for other networks and Cingular and AT&T showed up but no T-Mobile. I tried turing my phone off 4-5 times and still nothing. I called customer service and was waiting to talk to someone for 10 mins and then suddenly I had full signal again. I was wondering if T-Mobile has to reset the towers every once in a while or maybe there is another reason the tower was not working.

T-Mobile does "reset" the towers when performing routine maintanence. It usually occurs late at night/early morning. If you ever have this problem, give it some time and then power your phone off an on and try your call again. If still no luck, call CC and they can get you some more detailed info. 😉
