Well, today I was doing some overtime, and within a 4 hour time frame, I upgraded 6 phones, and had requests for 5 new activations (mostly add-ons). Not that this has never happened before, but 2 of the add-ons were customers of which one was currently employed by verizon wireless and the other with nextel (and they made a point of telling me that). I think all but one person I spoke with said something to the effect of being surprised by T-Mobile; that they were expecting less when they signed up, but are now telling everyone about us etc...not just today have I heard that, it's becoming increasingly more common of a statement, even when I get calls from non T-Mobile customers just asking general ques

I brought back a 6230 as it isn't available on Tmobile. Only available on Cingular I believe?
Home is Germany/Turkey.

Would that be Nokia 6230? Have not seen it available on Cingular's service. Is it a multi-band GSM phone? How many bands and which ones does it entertain?
Thanks!

Oops! My bad. Just went to Cingular's website and saw it. One drawback why I wouldn't get it is that it doesn't accomodate the 900 MHz frequency, which is what is used in Asia. If I should ever travel back and want to use my phone their then this would be a big disadvantage.

We at first went to Cingular, she lost her phone... They said even though she is like 3 and a half months away from upgrade and is on the old TDMA network they could not switch her over without signing up for another 2 years yatta yatta, I know the drill I do it all day, but for that we'd have to see the manager and he wasn't there so I just said screw it, I'm never going 2 yr again... Not to mention the fact I wanted to add a line for myself once she got onto their GSM... Didn't happen though and we left.
We we...

The point I was trying to make about our Hotspot service and Edge, not that I was comparing the two, you can't, is that this is just one example of solutions T-Mobile does indeed provide, and nobody else does.
The difference, my friend, between Wi-Fi and Edge, is that Wi-Fi is a high speed local area LAN interoperable with devices that support an 802.11mb data card. http://www.webopedi...

I'll say it one more time, 2005 will be lovely for T-Mobile, even with the competition having to merge and be bought-out!
