According to my Verizon store it will be in tommorrow morning. I am going to try to stop in and check it out tommorrow.

The shippment may arrive in the store tommorrow, but that doesn't mean they can sell it that day.

must a phone have MMS to be able to send pics from phone to phone ? I noticed the 8900 doesn't have this feature.

MMS just alows you to attach a voice clip to the picture, like Sprint's Sanyo 8100 does. You should be able to send pictures from camera phone to camera phone.
