Oh Lord, the 6256 is finally come to a verizon near you
While checking the update price list for post xmas, i noticed a new phone...or thats what they're callingit anyway. The nokia 6256 will be showing up at Circuit City kiosks (and only CC kiosk apparently) around the 29th of dec. For those of you who wanted to use your ne2 credit to get the phone but couldn't at (insert agent here). here is your chance, assuming of course anyone still wants it.

Circuit City got out of being an authorized agent of all wireless services in Verizon markets, and decided to allow Verizon to setup shop in their stores. I don't know if Circuit City has partnerships with other carriers in non-Verizon markets to allow corporate carriers to operate in their stores, or if Circuit City is still an authorized agent in non-Verizon markets. Maybe someone that reads this board can answer this one. I only know that the Circuit City stores I have visited have all been in Verizon markets in Illinois (Chicagoland area), Indiana (Northern Indiana, Lafayette, & Indianapolis markets), & Wisconsin (Madison & Milwaukee markets).

By my math if I matched that I would lose money. Literally lose money. How in the world could you offer that phone for free? Even if I sold the customer a car charger and a leather case I would still be in the negative on profit. VZW doesn't give its agents anything extra on commission to match this pricing. If you are on a different commission structure then all other agents, I would like to know. This would be an unfair trade practice.

The phone will be at CC kiosks. CC kiosks are Corporate Owned, so you will be able to use your newe2 credit. The phone will be 29.99 w/ 2yr agreement. I'm not sure of the full retail price.
