You could always get google voice once you get your new phone and use it on the computer if you mess your phone up but that really doesn't help right now I bet that gets old!

Ok, I managed to successfully send a txt to let a special person know my phone is damaged and that I can't send/recieve txts. But is it possible to recieve a txt msg on the computer? Just in case she responds? Kinda important to me.

Do you know the answer to this? Can I take an active LTE sim card out of one Droid Charge, and put it in another Droid Charge without any problems? This is in reguards to the insurance replacement that I will be recieving tomorrow.

If LTE SIM cards work the way others do (i.e. Nextel, & at&t) then yes. The only phones I've ever seen with locked SIM's are Sprint Powersource phones. Not sure though about LTE.

Yes. The only issue down the road might be on our end if we had to do a warranty exchange, but it's an easy fix once we see it.

Jay,

Why have you not moved over to Google Voice? This is a complete non-issue with Google Voice, since ALL text messages are held on the cloud indefinitely.

I stopped using traditional carrier-supported SMS almost a year ago. It's totally the way to go!
