Can anyone tell me if you can set it to beep continuosly until you clear the phone when you have a voicemail, or if you have missed a call. I have a customer that states that you can, and he wants it turned on. I have been all over the place in the manual, and on the manufatures website, and it does not state that you can or can not do this feature.

Is it possible to tell us how to have the phone alert us by tone when a voicemail is received? Many times I am in a sales call and when I come out to the car, I dont check my phone all to find out 30 min later that someone called and left a message. I am used to the nextel phones that beep every 2-3 min when a message is left.

I'm also interested in whether this can be done with the LG 4400, even if only for new voicemails. My old v60i would beep every 5 minutes or so when there was a missed call or new voicemail.

Don't know if this helps or not, but you can do>
Menu > Messages > Msg Settings > Msg Alerts
There's a couple things you can set up here:
Voicemail Alert: custom ring tone when you receive a voicemail
Text Msg Alert: Same as above, but for text messages
Two Minute Alert (default is off, but you can turn it on) this doesn't make the ringer ring or beep every two minutes, however it does cycle the New Voice Mail message on the external LCD when the phone is flipped close every two minutes. hope that was of some help.
