I want to use my NE2 (which i will be eligible for on may 12) and i also want that 50 mail in rebate so i too can get it for 175 + tax.
Since the retail is 400 and 2-yr is 300 which price do we pay taxes for? Im guessing the 400 retail am i right?
I think i made a mistake on the above post.
Is this correct:
399.99*.0775= $31
$31 + 300(2-yr)= $331
$331- 100(NE2)= $231
$231- 50(MIR)= $181
So Samsung Glyde = $181????
retail - 419.99
2yr contr.- 299.99
2yr with NE2 - 199.99
2yr with NE2 with MIR - 149.99
Also I was under the impession that the taxes were based on the actual retail price of the phone, not the discounted price.
To me they both make sense as the user said when you buy a shirt on sale you pay taxes on sale price not retail. The only reason im doubting this is because i always count my money and always double even triple check my receipts and if something dosent look right i will ask. I remmeber about two years ago when buying my last phone why the price was so high and they said taxes. I already had a price after taxes in head based on sale price but turns out it was more that what i thought.
Thanks in advance.
