What happened on T-giving?
Yesterday my daughter started complaining that her picture messages were not sending...then my wife tried and her phone wouldn't send them either...Finally I tried and...you got it...nothing. Called Verizon. Operator didn't know about anything then checked with a "data specialist" and apparently VZW had major nationwide issues with the network. Calls and texts worked just find but not PIX/FLIX. Anybody got the scoop? System overload for the holiday with people sharing pictures with family and friends? All seemed to be fine by last night around 9pm.

what city were you in? I had a slight problem with MMS as well in Columbus OH during prime Turkey time (like 2pm-5pm).
I can only assume that everyone was sending their friends pictures of turkeys and animated talking happy thanksgiving turkey videos pics of the family etc all around the same time that the network got a bit overwelmed.

I am right down the road in the Cincinnati area...and yes my daughter first said something around 2pm. We tried for a while just out of curiousity but gave up. All 3 of our phones would "freeze" when it tried to send a PIX/FLIX. The phones worked fine other than that. All was back to normal when I tried around 9pm. We thought it might be everyone sharing a bunch of PIX to family & friends. I am on the America's Choice Unlimited Texting plan.

Actually I'm carrier agnostic, I could give a damn about any of them.
Always think it's funny though, (and Verizon & maybe Sprint are the worst) how people get so uptight and defensive over the people who pay them piss poor hourly rates (or even worse, salaries) and commission for their blood, sweat, and inevitable tears. If you're going to be a company man, start your own. Don't fight a battle for anyone who won't fight yours when it's time.

I ran into the same problem in central Georgia... I believe it was around 1:00. However, when it seemed to freeze up while sending the message, I waited much longer than I normally would have to, and after a minute or so it went through ok.
