BOOST MOBILE - NOW OFFERING SOMETHING MORE - SERVICE & SELECTION

I must admit, Boost Mobile started-out horrific, by not having enough customer service representatives available to handle the huge demand mandated by new and current customers. It appears Boost Mobile got the message when many customers began to leave their service and go elsewhere. Immediately Boost hired enough customer service representatives to handle the new customer demands and growth and Boost Mobile also fixed their texting issue (another growth issue Boost Mobile wasn't ready to take on). Finally, Boost Mobile offered the Motorola Clutch phone and new and current customers began ordering the phone in unprecedented and record numbers. I must say, Boost Mobile offers clear, concise and dependable cellular service with no dropped c...

Problems with Receiving Txts from MetroPCS

I activated my new Boost Mobile Cell (Motorola i1 (iden)) yesterday. I am able to send txt messages to Metropcs cellphones but I cannot receive them from metropcs. The people that try get error messages saying that I dont support SMS. But people who have Sprint & ATT can send me txts. Has this happend to anyone before? Thanks! 😕

good news

June is going to be one hot month for Android as a handful of devices like the HTC EVO 4G, T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide, and T-Mobile Garminfone are all set to make an arrival onto the scene showcasing some of the talent behind Android. Needless to say that the Motorola i1's unveiling with Boost Mobile may be a bit overshadowed, but one needs to consider in the factor that it'll be offered without a contract. It looks like June 20th is going to be the day that this rugged style Android powered smartphone will make its debut after a commercial that was aired during the Indianapolis 500 seemingly confirmed it. Now what's interesting about all of this is that this is going to be a pretty substantial win for the prepaid wireless carrier. Although i...

Boost Mobile Blackberry 8330 - SUPER PHONE & VALUE

After a number of months using the Boost Mobile Blackberry 8330 I can report back no dropped calls, superior clarity in phone calls/conversations along with excellent service.

With Unlimited & Free 411 Calls this is a great value for anyone needing dependable phone service.

I was with AT&T for 6 years and glad I switched to Boost Mobile. Especially even more now since AT&T has implemented a $325.00 Early Termination Fee for customers which break their AT&T contracts beginning on June 1st.

What CMDA or Blackberry Phones are coming to Boost next?

I have the Boost BB Curve 8330. It works absolutely perfect, just like when I had the curve with a Sprint contract last year. Data speeds are fast, get emails and text on time and calls are perfect. Only problem is, even though the 8330 is a great work horse of a phone, when will something a little more up to date make its way to Boost? the current Curve 2 8500 series is very cheap looking and I'd rather use the original curve over that one. Do you think when the curve 3 comes out later this year, all the left over curve 2 will finally make their way to Boost? What about other sprint cmda phones, what will come this way? I heard there is a prepaid andriod phone as well, the Motorola something or another. Fill me in people, I don't wa...

New Sanyo phone and "CDMA X"

They have the new Sanyo Juno coming soon! Yay. And it's listed as "CDMA X," where the others are just CDMA. What's the difference, I wonder? I am thinking that it's utilizing high speed for internet access. I am also wondering if it will use Sprint's expanded network (not just Sprint native network, but its roaming capacity).

Anyone know?

Thanks!

Do I keep Boost or switch to Page Plus Cellular?

I am looking for a change. Page Plus uses Verizon's network. Has a better choice of phones and the unlimited $39.95 plan could save me money. I am wondering if it is not time to change?

I call Boost Customer Service today...(about Blackberry)

I asked the barely speaking english customer service rep if they Curve is coming out on tomorrow 01/13/2010 like I've read. She acted shocked that I knew anything about it and told me to wait and look at the website tomorrow and I will be very shocked and suprised. That entire converstation to ask that one question took ten minutes. Now I remember whyI left Boost to begin with. No One Speaks English!!!!

What's with text messaging having to be "downloaded" for ten minutes?

Is that the same on every Boost phone, or just on the lower-end units? Does the Debut have a huge problem with this?

(On a side note, does anybody know if the Debut has truly "threaded" text messaging? "Chat" style? "IM" style?)
