Boostmobile Switch My Service Plan and Did Not Tell Me

When I first signed up my plan had separate hotspot (2.5GB with throttle on anything over 2.5GB) usage from my Internet usage via the phone (my account showed the usage with the throttling over 2.5GB). Approx. 1+ years in I noticed I stopped seeing my Hotspot usage, and called Boost Mobile on it several times (when I moved I could never save my new address until recently). Each call (approx. 7 calls confirmed) I would get told they will send it to their upper level support.

Approx February 2016 I called again and was told I never had separate hotspot usage, even though currently on the screen there was a space for hotspot usage (no longer showing usage). The person (lady) tried me the plan I signed up for was 2.5GB (hotspot and Inte...

Text Messaging and Multi tasking

What is actually going on with Boost Services. I haven't received any of my text messages in months. I actually had to download an app called KIK just to receive texts from friends or tell people to call me. I purchased a new phone in hopes thinking that it was last phone showing I still don't receive any text messages. Then to add insult. The phone won't even let me do two things at one time anymore whether its on data or wi-fi. Can't send pictures while on the phone, can't receive messages from apps. Nothing. It sucks. What in the world happen. When I first switched over to Boost everything was awesome. Now its all one big headache. What is going on?

IDEN customer... will I have to switch carriers?

I've been with Boost Mobile for a few years now. Very satisfied with service over the years until now.

When they announced upgrading everything to CDMA and phasing out IDEN, I switched to a CDMA phone a couple months back. 95% of my calls were dropped, terrible signal on CDMA where I live, so returned the phone to Radioshack and went back to IDEN.

Now, my IDEN signal is failing fast. Call quality is horrendous, texts fail to DL. I'm assuming they are phasing out IDEN towers, but I can't get a straight answer from Boost CS. With the CDMA upgrading, does that mean they will be adding more CDMA towers so that I will eventually get CDMA signal where I live? If not, I will have to switch carriers and really hate to do that.

Any res...

Replacing a broken phone..

I have a boost mobile android phone that has been acting up and is not under warranty.

I've had it long enough that my plan is down to $50.00

If I go to a store or ebay and buy another Boost Mobile phone, do I have to start my contract over again. Not sure how this works...

thanks..

Hot-Spot

I'm asking everyone to please start requesting that boost add Hot-Spot to the phones. This will allow your phone to be used as hot-spot for your nook, kindle, and ipad. Also like metro we need to have roaming. The more requests maybe we will be lucky. Thank you everyone 😁

Does Boost have caller ID? Do my outgoing calls show my name? Do incoming have a name?

Thanks in advance - I could not find the info on the Boost site.

Question: Android phone with New Phone Reduction Plan

I just purchased an Android with Cricket: Huawei Ascend 2. It costs me about $60 after tax for their service with this phone. I found out Boost Mobile has a better phone plan starting at $50 and reducing down to $35. I understand how it works.

I just bought this phone and paid for one month of service with Cricket today, but I want to switch over to Boost Mobile.

My two questions:
1) Can I unlock my current phone, so I can use all of its features and go through Boost Mobile?
2) If not, is there a Boost Mobile phone which provides me an approximate level of capabilities through a phone which can work with Boost Mobile? My phone uses the Android 2.3 not the 2.2 like the Boost Mobile phones I have seen on their site. Is there another ph...

Boost? Cricket? And the Phone?

Hey, gang. It's the dude from Texas again, hoping some of you all can help clear up a few things that popped up, ironically, while doing my homework for a new phone.
So here's the deal. I've been with Cricket for 2 years, and notwithstanding some customer care issues(after reading some of y'all's posts, it looks like I'm not alone), I've been pretty satisfied.
I now feel that I'm emotionally and mentally prepared to "graduate" to an Android smartphone. This decision did not come without a lot of introspection and deep thought. My therapist was involved, and she agrees with my decision 🤨 .
Okay, enough screwing around. Anyway, I'd like to stay with one of the "no-contract" carriers, preferably Boost Mobile because o...

Future

Will boost (Sprint) be getting more towers? Does the CDMA boost coverage match up with Sprint? I wants to love them but these are my concerns. I believe in you boost.
