I was speaking with a tech support rep late last night after getting my very last harassing phone call, now I am changing my number, but my question is she was telling me about a new program that cell one is starting on Monday about getting customers upgrades more often. I am really really really looking into getting the nokia 6255 I am so looking into it that I am considering activating a completely new line of service and just having a family plan for one person. I want to know what this new program is if anyone has an knowledge it would be really helpful. Thanks

So, I was reading thru the info about Cellular one, and it says they have GSM partner coverage? What exactly does this mean? I work for a vendor for Cingular Wireless, and we have what is called "GSM Partner Coverage" where I work/live, in southeast south dakota. Is that what this means? Can anyone tell me?

🙄 The story begins on Saturday. This guy came into my shop saying he needed a phone and fast. he broke his old one and was going out of town in a few hours. I checked he account (his dad's) and found that they weren't able to get reduced pricing on a phone until June. I explained and he asked how much a new phone would be now. I told him all i had in stock was a $200 phone (the truth) and that all the other stores in the area were closed now (came in at 1:58PM) so he was pretty limited in his choices. I told him he could shop on eBay, but he reiterated that he needed it now. I thought for a bit and remembered that I had a customer that had an extra 8410. so I told the guy about the phone. came on phonescoop and let him read up ...

I just added Western Wireless, AKA Cellular One, to the site.

The phones were added all at once, so they're not in "newest" order at the moment. As new phones are released, that will eventually fix itself.

I know that this is pretty farfetched and many years away, but do you think that with all these companies joining forces, and the introduction of GSM in the midwest, it's possible that cell one and verizon might join forces. As for South Dakota, they use many of the same towers and practically are the same.

I would really like to know who can flash phones besides our local CellularOne store. They're great for Kyocera's and Motorola's, but they can't do Nokia's and won't even try on an LG phone. LG makes some really nice CDMA phones that some people would really like to use on CellularOne! What does it take?

If anyone has a CDMA CellularOne phone for sale, I would like to buy one. My other phone is about dead and I don't wanna have to sign another contract.

i know what it does...but how does it work...you download apps...what is an app? and once you download the app how do you get ringtones and such?

Just got my v810, dealer said I was more then likely first one in my area.

Besides that phone is just the cats meow, One thing i have noticed is there is no web access on mine. Didn't mention it to cellone yet but I never really used that at all anyways. Another thing is that you can't change anything on the external screen which i thought was weird.

I just hope i can somehow get ringtones on it.
