Travel Time Problems

Ok, so I have travel time activated on my phone. todayand yesterday I went outside the Cricket Home coverage Area, and Started to roam.

I went to make a phone call by dialing the AWAY 2929. But i t re-routed me to Verizon wireless Roaming, and asked for a credit card.

Well when i got back to Denver, I called cricket and asked them what is the problem. I had funds in my flex bucket, and had already did the *228. But he said i have to do it before i leave the service area? What? why? it is already programmed?
So i did, and today same problem!

Does anyone have any ideas?

Is Cricket ever going to sell any other brand than Kyocera?

๐Ÿ˜• I do not trust Kyocera Phones. They are ugly and cheap built. Besides once you see all you can get is one brand it makes you fell like you are being forced to buy from them. I would like to see some other brand included on the Cricket lineup.

Cricket Questions?????????

What are the credit requirements to obtain Cricket service? Are their credit requirements in line with TMO or Verizon? What are the contract terms for Cricket? Does anyone have any insight on the ETA for service in the Houston area? Based on their coverage in other markets how far outside of the city do they stretch? Houston is mainly a suburban city or is quickly becoming that way. Sugarland, Katy, Clear Lake, Woodlands, Kingwood are all major suburbs of Houston. Can some one speculate if these are areas will be covered when they finally launch service in Houston?

Thanks and HOOKEM HORNS!

Approximate subscriber numbers

Does anyone have an accurate approximation of how many customers Cricket currently has? I got into a friendly argument with someone over this and have been having a hard time finding the answer.

Thanks!
